Students must acquire multi-task knowledge to get top priority for employment: Utsav Agarwal, Bourka Fabcons Ltd, Mysuru

Mysuru: “Students have to not only obtain degrees but also have to acquire multitask knowledge to get prioritised by the employer. The faculty have to devote to provide a most value based and skill-based education for students. Students have to be very clear and transparent in conveying the thoughts”, said Utsav Agarwal, Director, Boruka Fabcons Pvt Ltd, Mysuru.

He addressed the students at the inaugural programme of the Industry-Institute Interaction and Students Skill Development Programme organized by Internal Quality Assurance Cell of JSS College of Arts, Commerce and Science, Ooty Road, Mysuru in Association with Confederation of Indian Industries- Industry Institute Interaction Panel (CII-III), Mysuru Zone on 17 December 2022.

He stressed upon the wider scope for Indian students to improve World Economy in the future 10 years. He called the students to have positive mindset, hardworking and converting ideas into projects ability and to keep updating of current and required skills. He opined that the quality of having personal branding makes a sense to the best in grabbing of opportunities.

Santosh Gundapi, Managing Director of AT & S India Pvt Ltd, Mysuru has delivered the keynote address and advised the students to pick the best out of the choice for studies as per the individuals’ ability and rights of learning.

He felt the necessity of obtaining the education with good attitude, creativity, best passion of learning, and fearless nature to expose the knowledge.

Gundapi suggested the students to be bold and self-confident.

He mentioned to understand the recruitment and interview process, activities of industry and to apply for job as per the suitability of valid skills. He emphasised on the greater needs for MoUs between Industries and Institutes.

Prof B V Sambashivaiah, Chief Executive, in his presential remarks said that “students should make use of the opportunities provided through such programmes”.

In his speech he mentioned about the initiatives taken by the Central and State Governments to enhance the skilled graduates.

He advised the students to make use of opportunities to improve the capability to get top preference for employment.

Principal Prof M P Vijayendra Kumar welcomed the Guest, dignitaries and others.

Radhika Hardikar rendered invocation. IQAC Coordinator Dr N Rajendraprasad proposed Vote of Thanks.

There were 50 teachers and 500 students present in the programme.
