Stranger barges into nuns’ home, attacks inmate with knife

Mysuru: An incident of murder attempt on a nun has been reported at R S Naidu Nagar in the city.
The incident of a stranger barging into a home for nuns at R S Naidu Nagar and attacking her with a knife has been captured on CCTV camera installed at the spot.
As the victim raised an alarm, the assailant fled from the spot.
After learning about the incident, N R Police rushed to the spot.
DCP (Law and order) Pradeep Gunti also visited the spot.
Fingerprint experts and dog squad were pressed into service. Police have collected CCTV footage for investigation.
N R Police Inspector Azharuddin, Sub- Inspector Jayakeerthi and other police personnel also visited the spot.
