State Government committed to root out drug mafia: DCM Dr Ashwathnarayan

Mandya: Deputy Chief Minister Dr C N Ashwathnarayan said “State Government is committed to root out drug mafia in the state”.
Ashwathnarayan who was in the district to inspect the works on drinking water project from river Cauvery to Ramanagar passing through a tunnel in Netkal village in Malvalli said ” the drug mafia which has brought disrepute to the state should be removed from the core”.
The home minister has already clarified that “be it any influential person, the government will not show any mercy. It is to protect the healthy environment of the state”, said Ashwathnarayan.
