Staging of ‘Sri Krishna Gaarudi’ drama in K Hemmanahalli on December 29

Mysuru: In memory of drama teachers Devaragudi Setty and Mahadeva Setty, the mythological drama ‘Sri Krishna Gaarudi’, written by Bellave Narahari Shastri, will be staged by 30 artistes from Sri Mahalingeshwara Krupa Poshitha Nataka Mandali, K Hemmanahalli, Mysuru.
The performance is scheduled for December 29 from 3 PM to 10 PM, in front of Sri Doddammathayi Temple, K Hemmanahalli, located 9 km from Mysuru on Bogadi-Gaddige Road.
Musical Highlights:
Harmonium: R Manjunath Hemmanahalli, Keyboard and Tabla: Koorgalli Lokesh and team
Key Performers: Female artistes Mary Vasantha, Geethanjali and Lakshmi.
The drama is directed by Javara Setty and Chama Setty.
K Hemmanahalli, a quaint village known for its delicious chaats, will serve as the backdrop for this cultural event.
