Mysuru: Joy knew no bounds for a student, who after revaluation of her answer scripts, has emerged topper in the recent SSLC exams. She now ranks numero uno in the district and second topper in the state.

Spoorthi Y Agnihothri of Marimallappa’s High School secured an aggregate of 624 against 625 after revaluation.
Spoorthi had earlier secured 618 marks when the results of examination were out. However, she was uber confident about scoring more marks. She consulted her school and the teachers who also suggested Spoorthi to apply for revaluation.
Spoorthi’s firm determination yielded good results as she had added six more marks in the revaluation taking the aggregate to 624 marks out of 625. She has got cent per cent marks in each of the five papers and 99 in only one.
Spoorthi’s father Yogish Agnihothri who is a financial advisor opined that “we were also confident about her performance. We were quite tensed after applying for revaluation, but we are eventually happy that it turned out to be good. We thank the school authority for encouraging her”.
Spoorthi’s mother Soumya Agnihothri is also a happy lot now, added Yogish.
When the results were declared, three students who had scored an aggregate of 613 were considered as the district toppers- Preksha N R of Ideal Jawa Rotary School, C Manu of Vijaya Vittala Vidyashala and Gaurav Chandan of Sri Ramakrishna Vidyashala.
