Sri Ramakrishna Ashram distributes food kits to needy people

Mysuru: Food kits were distributed to the needy people on the premises of Viveka Memorial off Narayan Shastri road in the city on Thursday.

Sri Ramakrishna Ashram, Mysuru had arranged for the distribution of food kits and Cooperation and district minister S T Somashekar handed them over to the people.

Somashekar lauded the initiative of Swami Muktidanandaji head of Sri Ramakrishna Ashram in the city on humanitarian grounds.

“I compliment the ashram authorities on behalf of the government and also on a personal note. Likewise, the elected representatives and others have been distributing such kits, which should be a role model for all and emulate them”.

Swami Muktidanandaji said ” To keep the people indoors and maintain a social distance, soaps are being given along with food grains. The people should regularly wash their hands to keep away from Coronavirus”.

MLA L Nagendra and Deputy Commissioner Abhiram G Sankar were present.
