Sri Krishna Janmashtami a simple and traditional affair this year too

Mysuru: Following the prevailing Covid-19 crises, Sri Krishna Janmashtami was a low key affair at various temples in the city on Monday.
The rituals were restricted to Abhisheka and Mangalarathi to the idol of Lord Krishna.
Unlike previous years, International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) temple at Jayanagar, also witnessed a simple celebration of the event.
However, there was no dearth in the spirit of people who were seen dressing their kids as Lord Krishna and capturing the moment on their cellphone cameras.
It was evident with many sharing the photos of the kids dressed as Krishna on social networking sites.
