Special vehicles being arranged to ferry excited workers to Bengaluru from Mysuru

Mysuru: Enthusiasm of Congress workers of Mysuru to witness their favourite leader Siddaramaiah taking oath as chief minister for the second time is palpable when hundreds of them are rushing to catch buses to Bengaluru. At least 10,000 workers from Mysuru and surrounding region have left for Bengaluru to take part in the oath taking ceremony at Sri Kanteerava Stadium on Saturday.

It is reliably learnt that Karnataka Hindulida Vargagala Jagruthi Vedike president K S Shivaramu has arranged vehicles to ferry intellectuals, writers and thinkers from Mysuru to participate in the ceremony.
Meanwhile, people in Siddaramaiah’s native Siddaramanahundi are excited as their favourite son is being sworn in as the chief minister for the second time. It is said that Tagadur Block Congress president Rangaswamy and others have offered a special puja at Srikanteshwara temple in Nanjangud in the name of Siddaramaiah and D K Shivakumar.
