Special NDPS Court defers hearing on Ragini’s bail plea to September 14

Bengaluru: The hearing over bail application of Kannada cine actress Ragini Dwivedi is deferred to September14. Ragini who is facing the charges of having an unholy nexus with drug mafia was arrested by Central Crime Branch ( CCB) policemen on September 4.
Ragini who has hired a Mumbai based lawyer, had moved her bail application on Thursday, at the Special Court of NDPS. The judge adjourned the hearing to September 14.
Ragini, ever since her arrest continues to remain in CCB custody. The actress who was earlier remanded to four days police custody on September 4, had to spend five more days in police custody after the court extended the period of her custody.
She is currently being kept at Women’s
Counselling Centre and is frequently quizzed over her links with the drug peddlers.
