New Delhi: Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav passed away on Monday.
The 82-year-old former Uttar Pradesh CM Mulayam Singh Yadav breathed his last at Gurugram Hospital.
Popular as Netaji, Mulayam Singh was a stalwart who became chief minister thrice and served as a Member of Parliament, besides serving as defence minister.
He is survived by his son and former Uttar Pradesh CM Akhilesh Yadav, brother Shivpal Yadav and a host of leaders, who were his cousins.
Various leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi have condoled his death.
