Southern Railway to run special trains for Onam Festival

Hubballi: In order to clear extra rush of passengers during Onam festival, the following special trains will run as detailed below:-
1. Train No. 06052 Tirunelveli – Bengaluru Cantonment Special will depart from Tirunelveli at 08:00 AM on 10.09.2022 and arrive Bengaluru Cantonment at 04:00 AM the next day.
The special train will have stoppages at Nagercoil Town, Parassala, Thiruvananthapuram Central, Kollam, Kayankulam, Alappuzha, Ernakulam, Aluva, Thrissur, Palakkad, Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Erode, Salem, Bangarapet and Krishnarajapuram stations.
2. Train No. 06056 Bengaluru Cantonment – Tambaram Special will leave Bengaluru Cantonment at 07:40 AM on 11.09.2022 and reach Tambaram at 02:45 PM on the same day.
The special train will have stoppages at Krishnarajapuram, Bangarapet, Jolarpettai, Katpadi, Arakkonam, Perambur and Chennai Egmore stations.
The above special trains (06052/06056) will have a composition of 1- AC two tier coach, 5- AC three tier Coaches, 6 – Second Class Sleeper Coaches, 4 – General Second Class Sitting Coaches and 2 – Second Class Luggage cum Brake-Vans (Total 18 coaches).
*II. SCR TO RUN SPECIAL TRAINS (ONE TRIP ONLY)*
South Central Railway has notified for running of Train No. 07153/07154 Narasapur – Yesvantpur – Narasapur Special under trains on demand in order to clear extra rush as detailed below:-
1. Train No. 07153 Narasapur – Yesvantpur Special will depart from Narasapur at 03.20 PM on September 09th & 11th and arrive Yesvantpur at 10:50 AM the next day.
2. In the return direction, Train No. 07154 Yesvantpur – Narasapur Special will leave Yesvantpur at 03.50 PM on September 10th & 12th and reach Narasapur at 08.30 AM the next day.
En-route, these special trains will have stoppages at Palakollu, Bhimavaram Town, Akividu, Kaikaluru, Gudivada Jn, Vijayawada Jn, Guntur Jn, Narasaraopet, Donakonda, Markapur Road, Giddallur, Nandyal, Dhone, Anantapur, Dharmavaram, Penukonda, Hindupur and Yelahanka stations in both directions.
*III. TEMPORARY AUGMENTATION OF COACHES IN TRAINS*
South Western Railway has decided to augment one additional Sleeper Class coach on a temporary basis in the following trains to clear extra rush of passengers as detailed below: –
1. Train No. 12253 Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal Bengaluru (SMVB) – Bhagalpur Weekly Superfast Express will be temporarily augmented with one sleeper class coach with effect from SMVB from 10.09.2022 to 24.12.2022.
2. Train No. 12254 Bhagalpur – Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal Bengaluru Weekly Superfast Express will be temporarily augmented with one sleeper class coach with effect from Bhagalpur from 14.09.2022 to 28.12.2022.
3. Train No. 12251 Yesvantpur – Korba Bi-weekly Superfast Express Special will be temporarily augmented with one sleeper class coach with effect from Yesvantpur from 13.09.2022 to 27.12.2022.
4. Train No. 12252 Korba – Yesvantpur Bi-weekly Superfast Express Special will be temporarily augmented with one sleeper class coach with effect from Korba from 15.09.2022 to 29.12.2022.
*IV. PERMANENT AUGMENTATION OF COACHES IN TRAINS*
East Coast Railway has decided to augment one additional AC First Class coach on a permanent basis in the following trains for the convenience of passengers as detailed below: –
1. Train No. 18463 Bhubaneswar – KSR Bengaluru Daily Express will be permanently augmented with one AC first class coach with effect from 25.09.2022 from Bhubaneswar.
2. Train No. 18464 KSR Bengaluru – Bhubaneswar Daily Express will be permanently augmented with one AC first class coach with effect from 26.09.2022 from KSR Bengaluru.
*V. RESCHEDULING OF TRAINS*
Due to line block for maintenance work between Saunshi and South Hubballi, the following trains will be rescheduled as per the details mentioned below:-
1. Train No. 16213 Arsikere – SSS Hubballi Daily Express, commencing journey on 11.09.2022, 15.09.2022 & 18.09.2022 will be rescheduled for 45 minutes from Arsikere.
2. Train No. 07332 SSS Hubballi – Solapur Daily Passenger Special, commencing journey on 11.09.2022, 15.09.2022 & 18.09.2022 will be rescheduled for 70 minutes from SSS Hubballi, Aneesh Hegde, Chief Public Relations Officer
