South Western Railway to renumber 116 passenger trains from January 1, 2025

Mysuru: South Western Railway has decided to renumber its 116 Passenger Special trains with regular train numbers. The existing ‘0’ numbering system will be replaced with numbers starting with ‘5’, ‘6,’ or ‘7.’ This change will take effect from January 1, 2025.

Passengers are requested to note the revised train numbers to avoid any inconvenience.

according to Dr Manjunath Kanamadi, Chief Public Relations Officer, South Western Railway, Hubballi.
