South Western Railway celebrates International Women’s Day

Hubballi: South Western Railway (SWR) celebrated International Women’s Day with great enthusiasm at Chalukya Institute, Gadag Road, Hubballi on Friday.
The event was graced by General Manager Mukul Saran Mathur, who was the Chief Guest.
As part of the celebrations, cultural programmes were organised where women employees showcased their talents in dance and singing. Various competitions and games were also held exclusively for women employees on March 4 and 5 at Chalukya Railway Institute, Gadag Road, Hubballi.
The competitions included a rangoli contest, flower decoration, dinner table decoration, slow vehicle race, musical chair, musical ball passing, spoon and lemon race, lemon balancing on head, throw ball, and badminton. Winners of these games and competitions were felicitated by GM Mukul Saran Mathur during the event.
Principal Chief Personnel Officer R Aaivu, senior officers of South Western Railway and women staff from the headquarters participated in the celebrations, making the occasion memorable and lively.
