Somani College retired Kannada faculty Manjula B C no more

Mysuru: Manjula B C, a retired faculty of Kannada from Basudev Somani College, Kuvempunagar in the city, pased away in Bengaluru on Monday. She was 65.
According to the family members, Manjula died of multi-organ failure.
A women’s activist, Manjula leaves behind her husband Rajappa Dalawayi, retired Professor of Bangalore University and son Major Bharati Nanda.
A native of Bustenahalli in Hassan district, Manjula had to struggle for getting education and later succeeded in studying MA in Kannada in Mysuru.
The mortal remains will be kept at her residence in Vaghdevi Nagar, SJCE main road, Bogadi South Second Stage, on Wednesday at 8 am.
The last rites will be performed at Harishchandra Ghat, near the foot of Chamundi Hill.
