Skit on life of Swami Vivekananda staged

Mysuru: Members of Swami Vivekananda Study Centre, Seshadripuram Degree College in the city, enacted a skit on the life of Swami Vivekananda, a venerated Indian sage
and advocate of vedanta Philosophy, at Vijaya Higher Primary School at Hinkal on January 17.
It was the initiative of Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the college.
By the skit, the precepts of Swami Vivekananda had been permeated. Moreover, basic tenets of the Hindu Philosophy had been reached out.
In the present scenario, it is necessary to imbibe morality and understand
the traditions of the yore in detail for the young minds. Their descent to the
abyss of immorality is a serious aspect to reckon with.
Keeping this in perspective, the students of Seshadripuram Degree college took up this task to reform young minds.
The cardinal objective of the program are:
● To imbibe morality and right conduct among students.
● To inform the youth of the misfortune caused by immorality.
● To learn the austere life of Indian Philosophers.
