Mysuru: As Covid-19 continues to wreak a havoc in second wave, many especially destitutes are crying for help. It’s only due to few benevolent organisations that they are assured of two square meals a day.

The destitutes have taken shelter at Nanjaraj Bahadur Choultry on Vinobha road in the city.

Simhadamari Seva Trust headed by K Dinesh Trust distributed 200 food packets and daily needs including mats and blankets to them at the choultry.

He was helped by Darshan Yadhuraj in the initiative.

Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) and Credit I NGO have jointly opened the shelter for homeless during the lockdown, at the choultry.
