Mysuru: Former chief minister Siddaramaiah has slapped a party worker at Mysuru Airport at Mandakalli on September 4.

The party worker came towards Siddaramaiah with his cellphone and was gesturing at him to speak to the caller after handing the cellphone, which irked Siddaramaiah who slapped on his right cheek.

“Eh Nadeela” ( Go…) this was how Siddaramaiah angrily retorted before landing a slap, even as former MLC C M Ibrahim watched it helplessly.

The incident happened soon after Siddaramaiah turned back after addressing media and started walking towards his car.

The video of the incident has gone viral.

It’s not for the first time that the Siddaramaiah has lost his cool.

A few months ago in January, he had entered into a wordy duel with Jamalar a woman Congress leader in Varuna.

When Jamalar accused Siddaramaiah’s son MLA Dr Yathindra of not visiting the constituency regularly, he had snatched microphone from her hand, along with the duppatta worn by Jamalar that had entangled to the microphone.

In January 2016, Siddaramaiah had slapped a senior bureaucrat, when he was still holding the office of chief minister
