Siddaramaiah blows poll bugle; arrives to rousing reception

Mysuru: Opposition Leader Siddaramaiah has blown election bugle on October 19 in the city. Siddaramaiah, a former chief minister came to the city for a rousing reception, after his recent appointnent as the leader of the opposition.

Mysore district city and rural Congress Committee had organised the programme.
After his new role, Siddaramaiah is tasked with reviving the fotunes of the party in the by- elections to State Legislative assembly from 15 constituencies in the State, in December.
Siddaramaiah called for putting up an united fight against BJP. It was also a show of strength of Siddaramaiah and the leaders in his close quarters as former minister Dr H C Mahadevappa, former Chamarajanagar MP R Dhruvanarayan, MLA Tanveer Sait, former MLA M.K Somashekar, MLC R Dharmasena and a host of other leaders shared the dais with him.
KPCC President Dinesh Gundurao, AICC secretary Vishnunadh accompanied Siddaramaiah in the procession.
The procession started from Old RMC Circle and passed through K R Hospital Circle and Railway station circle and culminated at Indira Gandhi Congress Bhavan.
