Shocked mahout of Arjuna collapses after his favourite jumbo’s death

Hassan: Following the tragic death of elephant Arjuna, mahout Vinu went into a state of shock and collapsed at Yesalur Balekatte area in Hassan district on Monday.
Ambulance was arranged to shift Vinu to a hospital for treatment.
Arjuna who had a vast experience of taking part in the operations to capture rogue elephants was brought to Hassan on November 23 from Balle elephant camp, for the operation.
Arjuna was a popular as Golden Howdah carrier in Mysuru Dasara till he was replaced by his successor Abhimanyu in 2019.
