Shaikh Tanveer Asif, new MCC Commissioner

Mysuru: IAS Officer Shaikh Tanveer Asif, is appointed as the new Commissioner of Mysuru City Corporation (MCC).
A 2017 batch IAS Officer of Karnataka cadre, Shaikh Tanveer Asif was previously serving as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Mandya Zilla Panchayat (ZP).
Asif is among 12 IAS officers who have been transferred, the notification of which was released by the Government Secretariat on January 24, 2025.
Ashaad-Ur-Rahman Shariff, the KMAS Officer, who was serving as MCC Commissioner has been transferred, but awaits new posting.
