Seven passengers feared charred to death as bus catches fire in Kalaburagi

Kalaburagi: As many as seven passengers are feared charred to death and several others were injured after a bus caught fire near Kamalapura in the outskirts of Kalaburagi on Friday.
The private bus allegedly hit a goods vehicle before overturning and caught fire at around 6 AM, according to the eye witnesses.
The bus was going from Hyderabad to Goa.
Soon after the accident some of the passengers ran out to safety, while a few others who are feared dead, are suspected to have been asleep when the fire broke out.
The passengers were helplessly watching from outside as the bus was reduced to heap of metal in fire.
Following the incident, Telangana transport minister enquired about the incident with the Kalaburagi officials over phone.
