September 26! Deadline to complete Dasara works

Mysuru: Housing and district minister V Somanna has fixed a deadline of September 26 for the officials to complete the arrangements for Dasara.
Somanna who is on an inspection spree upon his arrival on September 19, went to Bannimantap, Palace and Dasara Exhibition Grounds to take stock of the ground reality.
At Palace premises the minister was informed that seating capacity can be made for 8,000 people.
Somanna directed the officials to maintain a visual clearance around howdah elephant and Nandi Dhwaja on the day of Jamboo Savari as the people from across the globe will be watching the procession. There should not be any disturbance to viewers.
ACP ( Devaraja) H S Gajendra Prasad and ACP Palace Chandrashekar explained about security arrangements being made at the palace.
