Senior journalist K V Prabhakar appointed Media Advisor to CM, with Cabinet Rank

Bengaluru: Senior journalist K V Prabhakar is appointed as the Media Advisor to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.
According to Under Secretary-2, Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms (State Protocol) T V Sunandamma, ” K V Prabhakar has been appointed as Media Advisor to the Chief Minister with effect from May 20, 2023 with Cabinet rank status, with all the facilities provided to a Cabinet Minister.”
Prabhakar had previously worked as a Chief Reporter of Kannada Prabha and Vijaya Karnataka and was covering political beat. He had also served as the President of Bangalore Reporters Guild.
Prabhakar was with Siddaramaiah from the last few years as a Media Coordinator, handling media related works of Siddaramaiah who was the Opposition Leader in the previous Assembly.
