Second PUC results out, 61.88 per cent students pass

Bengaluru: Primary and Secondary Education Minister B C Nagesh announced the results of Second PUC exams on Saturday.
Addressing media at PU Board, the minister said of the total 5.9 lakh students (5,99,794) who had appeared for the exams, 4.02 lakh students (4,02,697) making for 61.88 per cent have passed, with girls outnumbering the boys in performance.
The minister said, the rural students have also performed well this time. Among the district wise performance, Udupi and Dakshina Kannada are in the top.
