Mysuru: Primary and Secondary Education Minister S Suresh Kumar on Friday clarified that “the schools will reopen from September 21, not classes for students”.

Suresh Kumar told media persons, “We are planning to reopen schools from September 21. A detailed information bulletin will be released on Saturday (September 19). There will be no classes, but those students who are facing trouble during studies can  consult their respective teachers”.
We have given a clear message to all the educational institutions only to collect one term fee and not to force for more fee. If any individuals want to complain, they can do so at BEO and DDPI offices respectively, said Suresh Kumar.
“It’s a good sign that the students of private schools are heading towards government schools. We welcome such students and will provide better education to them. If any private schools deny Transfer Certificate, we will arrange through DDPI”, Suresh Kumar said.
