Mysuru Urban Development Authority Chairman H V Rajiv on Sunday interacted with farmers at Murudeshwara Swamy temple premises at D Salundi.
Rajiv reminded the farmers about the authority’s plans to develop a satellite town in the ratio of 50:50 partnership with farmers. The town will be developed covering the lands at D Salundi, Kerehundi, Doddahundi, Dhanagalli, Kelahalli and Udbur villages, he added.
Rajiv appealed to the farmers to join hands with the authority in realising the plan.
Earlier Taluk Panchayat member C M Siddaramegowda said “the previous governments allotted lands to develop layouts. The private parties who developed layouts, adopted villages and provided basic facilities. MUDA also must be a part of such village development activities”.
