Sanket artistes to stage ‘Janashatru’ at Natana on January 10

Mysuru: Artistes of Sanketh Theatre troupe from Bengaluru will be staging a play ‘Janashatru’ on January 10 at 6.30 pm at the auditorium of Natana School of Theatre Arts, Ramakrishna Nagar in the city.
The play written by S Surendranath is is influenced by a play “An Enemy of the people” written by Norwegian playwright Henrik Ibsen.
It is set in the backdrop of Devanagari an imaginary city and holds relevance with any modern city. It deals with how the majority try to override individual freedom and rights.
The play is being staged under Ibsen Scholarship and is presented by Ibsen Awards and Ranga Shankara.
