Sandalwood actor Uday Huttinagadde passes away

Bengaluru: Film actor, photographer Uday Huttinagaddhe passed away at his house in Rajajinagar on Thursday.
Uday was known for his Uday Video (Uday Colour Lab) near Anand Rao Circle.
A native of Huttinagaddhe in Koppa taluk in Chikkamagaluru district, Uday had involved himself in professional photography and videography for several decades.
He had opened branches of Uday Colour Lab at several towns in the State.
Besides, he had acted in several Kannada films sharing screen space with thespian Dr Rajkumar, Vishnuvardhan, Ambareesh, Shankarnag, Ananthnag, Tiger Prabhakar.
He had acted alongside Rajkumar in Devata Manushya, Ambareesh in Jayabheri, Ananthnag in Undoo Hoda, Konduu Hoda.
He debuted in Sandalwood with his own production Arambha in 1987. Later he acted in movies like Agniparva, Shubhamilana, Udbhava, Shivayogi Akkamahadevi, Amrita Bindhu, Krama to name a few.
In the later years he stayed away from films and was busy with his photography business. He was also into farming as he owned coffee estate at his native Chikkamagaluru.
