Russia- Ukraine war! Bishop of Mysuru K A Williams chairs all religions prayer meeting for peace

Mysuru: All religions prayer meet was conducted to pray that the war between Russia and Ukraine ends at the earliest and peace be restored, at Infant Jesus Shrine, Pushpashrama at Naidu Nagar in the city on Monday.
The meeting was presided over by Bishop of Mysore K A Williams, that was attended by a mix of religious leaders.
Williams said “No any other parts of the world should witness war. All mankind should live in happiness and peace with the sense of brotherhood. Let peace and harmony reign the world, William’s said in his appeal.
Jnanaprakash Swamiji, Basavarajendra Swamiji of Chitradurga, Siddeshwara Swamiji of Tumakuru, Islam leaders Dr Javed Nayeem, Sufi saint Altaf Jamit, Dr Lesli Moras, Dr Staney Almeda, Dr Dominic Vas, Fr John Sequera and several others were present.
