Rural folk roll chapati for flood hit at NK

Chamarajanagar: Hundreds of villagers at Duyamkandahalli in Yalandur taluk are rolling chapati for the flood affected people at North Karnataka. The target is to roll 15,000 chapatis.

Members of Stree Shakti, Valmiki Yuvaka Sangha and fans of actor Sudeep are involved in the task. They have collected four quintals of flour for the purpose.

Milk powder is also being collected to be sent for the flood victims and the enthused youths are raising donations for the purpose.

The teachers and other officials have also lent a helping hand.

The chapatis will be taken by night and reach Belagavi on August 12.

The good samariran deed of the villagers has come in for a praise.
