RSS Taliban like outfit! KPCC Working President R Dhruvanarayan firm on his claim

Mysuru: Unfazed by the warning of BJP workers to protest in front of his house for calling Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) as a Taliban like organisation, KPCC Working President and former Chamarajanagar MP R Dhruvanarayan on Monday refused to take back his words.
Dhruvanarayan who was in Chamarajanagar on Sunday had alleged that “RSS is similar to Taliban which is torturing people cruelly at Afghanistan.”
On Monday, Dhruvanarayan told media “I will stick to my words. Taliban is a hardcore organization which believes in religious fundamentalism. Similarly RSS in our country is religious and has been restraining women from coming to the mainstream,” he claimed.
BJP leaders who took offence, had warned to stage protest in front of Dhruvanarayan’s residence.
On the controversy surrounding Mysuru- Bengaluru Expressway works with BJP MLC A H Vishwanath himself pooh-poohing his own party MP Prathap Simha’s claim on BJP led NDA government implementing it, Dhruvanarayan said “Be it any project, what assumes significance is the proposal of the state government. Congress government headed by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah had submitted the proposal. Hence, we also stand with Vishwanath’s assertion that Congress deserves the credit.”
