Rs 5.65 crore worth works launched at Yeyyadi Industrial Estate

Mangaluru: In the coming days basic infrastructural facilities at Yeyyadi Industrial Estate will be improved at an estimated cost of Rs 5.65 crore.

According to Mangaluru South MLA D Vedavyas Kamath “The amount will be spent on underground drainage ( UGD), road, street lights and other development works. It is essential to take up the works as the very industrial Estate is growing on a fast pace”.

In the coming days, works towards the development of the city will be taken up and funds will be released on priority, Kamath said.

According to local, they had submitted a list of works to be taken up at the Industrial area. It will improve the outlook and they are extremely thankful to the MLA for taking the works on priority.

Following the instructions of the MLA, former Corporator Roopa D Bangera performed the ground breaking ceremony.

Dakshina Kannada District Small Scale Industries Association president Vishal Salian, former presidents Annappa Pai, Jayaraj Pai, Sumith Rao and Gopinath Malya, Joint Director of Industries Gokuldas Nayak and others were present at the ground breaking ceremony.
