Retired teacher, now priest donates his pension to PM Cares Fund

Mysuru: A retired teacher cum priest has set an example by loosening his purse strings for the cause of Coronavirus infected people in the country.
K L Rajashekar of Yaraganahalli donated his one month pension amount of Rs 6,000 to PM Cares Fund on Monday.
Rajashekar’s son R Jayashekar handed over the cheque for the amount to former minister and MLA S A Ramadass in the presence of his father.
Rajashekar retired from the service after teaching at Dalwoy School behind Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) for 31 years.
Rajashekar is currently serving as a priest at Kote Ganapathy temple in the city. He also chanted hymns and prayed for the welfare of all, especially those fighting against the pandemic in the country.
