Retired PWD chief engineer G K Varadappa passes away
1 min readMysuru: G K Varadappa retired chief engineer of PWD passed away on Sunday. He was 96.
Vardappa who was associated with several organisations, was the founder president of Nagarika Vedike, Vishwamanava Double road, Kuvempunagar. He was serving as the honorary president of the Vedike.
He was the former director of Karnataka State Vokkaliga Sangha, former president of Mysuru and Chamarajanagar Vokkaligara Sangha.
He is survived by wife Annapoorna, daughters Vasanthi and Jyothi and son Sharath, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, grand children, a large number of relatives and friends.
The last rites will be performed on the arrival of his son from USA on July 21.
The funeral will be performed at K G Koppal burial ground next to Cauvery School.
