Retd engineer C S Krishnan no more

Mysuru: Retired engineer C S Krishnan (90) passed away here on Thursday.
During his stint as an engineer at Lakshmi Mission Works, Coimbatore, he had visited several countries to gain expertise in the field. As a result, he could speak 16 languages including French, German, Italian, Japanese and Spanish.
Notably, he had served as bilingual interpreter for the Japan team during the World Table Tennis tourney 1974 at Kolkata.
He is survived by son and Sports journalist C K Muralidharan, daughter, daughter-in-law and grandchildren.
Krishnan was cremated at Chirashanthidhama in Gokulam in the City.
