Retd DySP Nanjunde Gowda passes away

Mysuru: Retired DySP and former President of Karnataka Police House Building Cooperative Society, Mysuru passed away at his Netaji Nagar house in the city on Friday. He was 85.
According to sources close to the family, Gowda breathed his last due to age related ailments at around 9.30 AM. The body will be kept at his residence for viewing till 3 PM. The last rites will be performed at his native Tarikere in Maddur taluk, Mandya on Saturday at 11 AM.
His wife Parvathamma has predeceased him.
He is survived by three sons- Nagesh retired ASI, Shivashankar Deputy Director of Fire and Emergency Services, Bengaluru and builder Shashikumar, daughter Savitha, son-in-law Shivaram retired ASI, daughters-in-law, grand children and a host of relatives and friends.
