Bengaluru: Shocking details are emerging, revealing the last moments of
Chitradurga native Renukaswamy, who was allegedly tortured to death by Sandalwood actor Darshan Thoogudeepa and 16 others accused in the case.
Renukaswamy who was tortured to hilt, had reportedly begged for mercy, but Darshan and others were not ready to oblige, shows the photos and videos of the moments before his death, at Pattangere shed.
Renukaswamy had reportedly sent vulgar messages to actor Pavithra Gowda, the prime accused, that led to his kidnap from Chitradurga.
He was brutally murdered after a series of events that started with his actions.
The investigation revealed that his offensive behaviour led to his kidnapping and eventual murder.
The police, after filing a charge sheet of 3,991 pages, have connected the crucial dots that lead to Darshan, currently in judicial custody in Ballari Central Prison.
According to technical evidences gathered by investigators, Darshan is alleged to have operated the crime along with his associates.
Before his death, Renukawsamy pleaded for mercy and begged his attackers to stop. However, he was subjected to brutal torture, including electric shocks and was beaten severely, with multiple wounds found on person. His body was later dumped near a drain in Sumanahalli off Magadi road and found on June 9.
The police investigation has exposed the entire criminal operation, identifying the role of each individual involved, including Pavithra Gowda.
Actor Darshan’s access to communication
Actor Darshan, is now incarcerated in Ballari Jail. Jail authorities have allowed him two daily slots to make phone calls to his family members via landline and also granted permission for video calls.
Fans bid to visit Darshan in jail
Meanwhile, Darshan’s female fans have been attempting to visit him in prison.
On Thursday, one fan travelled all the way from Bengaluru to Ballari in the hope of meeting her hero, but permission was denied by the jail officials.
