1 min read

Mysuru: The Kote Anjaneya Swamy temple at Mysuru Palace North Gate that was closed for restoration works will be reopened on Thursday ( April 28).

According to Muzrai department, following the renovation works the temple was closed since November 2021. It will be opened for the devotees to have the darshan of the original idol on Thursday.

The Muzrai department had undertaken the repair works as the ceiling of the temple was in a dilapidated condition. Hence the devotees were deprived of the Darshan of the Lord.

However, to enable the devotees the portrait of the original idol and other idols were kept at the main door and were being worshipped by performing the daily rituals.

As all the repair works are completed, the devotees can see the original idol.

On Wednesday Ankurarpana ritual has been arranged followed by Mahasamprokshana on Thursday.
