Religious heads chant mantra of clean Mysuru

Mysuru: Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) is pulling all stops for Swachh Survekshan 2020, taking everybody on board.
MCC conducted a meeting with all religious heads at Suttur Mutt, near the foothills of Chamundi on January 10.
In the meeting, all the religious leaders across the city and heads of many organisations vouched to do their mite in this regard.
They extended their cooperation to the campaign and stressed on keeping the city clean not just during the survey, but for whole year. it’s our responsibility to maintain cleanness in the city and MCC should create awareness among the public, they said.
It’s not easy to maintain cleanliness in a big city like Mysuru, as equal public participation is essential in the movement. The officers must guide the people to stop littering waste, the seers felt.
