RDPR Minister Eshwarappa refuses to step down from ministry

Mysuru: Beleaguered RDPR Minister K S Eshwarappa on Tuesday feigned ignorance over knowing anybody by the name of contractor Santosh Patil and refused to resign for no fault of his in the death of the latter.
Eshwarappa is in the eye of the storm with Patil allegedly committing suicide at a lodge in Udupi.
Eshwarappa who is a part of BJP team on the tour of Mysuru division to organise the party ahead of elections due next year in the State spoke to media persons in Mysuru.
“I don’t know Santhosh. Earlier he had made allegations against our department and we registered a complaint. He may have got any notice from court and may have committed suicide out of fear. I am no way connected with his death. I won’t step down from the ministry”, Eshwarappa said.
