Rat snake rescued at Mysuru Palace Board premises

Mysuru: A snake was rescued from the office complex of deputy director of Mysuru Palace Board on Friday.

The staff at Mysuru Palace Board who were curiously watching the rescue operation.

The office is located on the premises of the Palace, a tourist attraction that has been closed for visitors for now due to the lockdown in place in the wake of Coronavirus.

The snake identified as Rat Snake was found behind the almirah in a room used to prepare beverages like coffee and tea for the staff cum visitors.

Kemparaju a fireman driver and snake rescuer who received a call in this regard, rescued the snake later. It’s non-venomous and about five feet length.

The staff at the Palace board curiously watched the rescue operation that lasted a few minutes.
