Rape bid on medico; FIR against landlord in Mysuru

Mysuru: A medical student from Kerala, studying at a private medical college in the city and residing in JSS Nagar, Bannimantap, reportedly escaped from the alleged rape bid by her house owner, on Wednesday.
According to the victim, the accused Amanulla Khan allegedly attempted to sexually assault her while she was alone in her rented room. He also allegedly snatched her mobile phone and harassed her.
The student managed to escape and immediately contacted her fiance.
She filed a complaint at the Narasimharaja Police Station.
Following the complaint, the police registered an FIR and have launched an investigation into the matter.
