Rainy woes! MLA G T Devegowda inspects waterlogged Ashraya extension, Anand Nagar

Mysuru: Heavy rains in the recent days has been causing misery for the residents of low lying areas.
Following the downpour on Sunday night, water accumulated on the roads and also gushed into houses in few cases at Ashraya extension in Anand Nagar in Chamundeshwari constituency.
MLA and former minister G T Devegowda inspected the affected areas on Monday early morning and directed the officials to remove encroachments of canals to facilitate free flow of rain water.
The officials were also directed to build check walls to prevent rain water from o overflowing towards the residential areas.
Corporator Nirmala Harish, MCDCC Bank Chairman G D Harish and others were present.
