Rains lash Mysuru, claim three lives

Mysuru: Rain lashed several parts of the district on Sunday and claimed three lives in Mysuru district.
In two separate incidents, Harish, 42 and Lokesh, 55 died due to lightning in Hunsur and Periyapattana taluks, respectively. While Harish hailed died in his field at Mantikoppalu village in Hunsur taluk, Lokesh died in his field at Avarti village in Periyapattana taluk.
In yet another incident, 18-year-old Swami died after he accidentally stepped on a live wire that had fallen off at K Doddakoppalu village near Bettadapura.
