Rahul Gandhi visits Suttur Mutt, seeks seer’s blessings

Mysuru: All India Congress Committee (AICC) former president Rahul Gandhi on Sunday called on Suttur Seer Sri Shivaratri Deshikendra Swamiji at Suttur mutt.
Rahul Gandhi who is on Bharat Jodo Yatra sought the blessings of the seer, along with AICC general secretary and Karnataka incharge Randeep Singh Surjewala, KPCC President D K Shivakumar and Opposition Leader Siddaramaiah and a host of leaders.
Suttur seer who interacted with Rahul Gandhi felicitated the visiting leader with an idol of Goddess Chamundeshwari, on account of ongoing Navaratri celebration.
Junior pontiff of Suttur Mutt Jayarajendra Swamiji, former MLA M K Somashekar, Mysuru City Congress Committee President R Murthy, Congress leaders Varuna Mahesh, M Shivanna former Corporator, former MUDA member Bhaskar, JSS Mahavidyapeetha Executive Secretary Dr C G Betsurmath, Secretaries S P Manjunath and Shivakumara Swamy, Navilur Mutt’s Channabasava Swamiji and others were present.
