R R Nagar Congress candidate Kusuma prays at Chamundi temple, exudes confidence about her victory

Mysuru: Rajarajeshwari Nagar Congress candidate Kusuma on Friday exuded confidence about emerging victorious in the recently concluded by- election to the Assembly.
Speaking to media persons during her visit to Chamundeshwari temple at Chamundi Hill, Kusuma said “low percentage of voting is not an issue. The voters of the constituency are with us. The election was transparent. I got a huge response and support from all workers of the party”, said Kusuma.
Kusuma was received by Congress leader Srinath Babu on her arrival to the hill, along with her father Hanumantharayappa.
Babu is a close confidante of KPCC President D K Shivakumar.
Kusuma wife of late IAS officer D K Ravi is pitted against former MLA Muniratna the BJP nominee.
