Puttur BJP MLA Sanjeev Matandoor files complaint over sleaze photos

Puttur: After his purported sleaze photographs with a woman went viral, Puttur MLA Sanjeev Matandoor has lodged a complaint with the Uppinangady police station seeking action against those behind releasing those photographs. MLA Matandoor is hoping to contest Assembly elections this time again.
In the complaint, the legislator said that these photographs were doctored and edited to malign him, ahead of the Assembly elections. The purported sleaze photographs had MLA Sanjeev Matandoor with a woman and this has caused a huge embarrassment to the party.
Meanwhile, the woman in the photograph too has lodged a complaint with the police without mentioning MLA’s name.
Matandoor had earned the ire of party leaders after his comments over the murder of BJP worker Praveen Nettaru. A Vokkaliga community member, Matandoor had defeated Congress candidate Shakuntala Shetty in 2018 Assembly elections with 19,447 votes.
