Mysuru: A pure drinking water unit was opened next to government high school behind Ganapathi temple road on seventh main, Jayalakshmipuram in the city on Wednesday.
It comes under Ward-19 of Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) and was inaugurated by MLA L Nagendra.
According to M S Praveen Kumar PA to MLA “The unit has been built at the cost of Rs 12.2 lakh funds under 14th Finance Commission of the year 2019-20.”
Ward 19 Corporator Bhagya Madesh and Corporator Chikkavenkata, MCC Zone-4 Assistant Commissioner Priyadarshini, Chamaraja Ward BJP President Mallikajun, Vigilance Committee member Shivaprakash, Raita Morcha Secretary Guru, elder of the locality Jnanadev, businessmen Suresh and Madappa, BJP leaders Venu, Shivakumar, Ullas, Shivaraj, Krishna, Jayaram, Papanna, Vani Vilas Water Works engineer Girish were present.
