Mysuru: “Punjab elected the working people, not those who give false assurances”, said Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) Mysuru district convener Malavika Gubbivani over her party’s stellar performance in the Assembly elections.
Malavika Gubbivani shared her first comments with Mysoorunews.com after Punjab handed over the landmark verdict to Arvind Kejriwal led party.

Malavika explained that “the AAP victory is pro-public mandate. Punjab rejected those politicians who deliver false assurances and practice vision less politics”.
The results of Punjab elections has also narrated an alternative political option to the voters. Earlier Congress and BJP was the only option, but now AAP has changed the whole scenario and surely the results prove AAP as a strong contender in national politics. AAP has set the benchmark for governance by winning the elections. The clean politics, transparency and honesty in the campaign trail resulted in the victory, Malavika said.

Malavika said “there are new challenges in Punjab too, as win or loss is common in politics. We want to learn from this victory also, and similarly we learn lesson to tackle the political parties adept at hatching plots. We work with less resources and need to reach the rural people which is indeed a big task for AAP”, she added.
“AAP will contest elections in Mysuru and Karnataka, because AAP believes in new political versions. From today AAP will start a new political era in Karnataka and India”, Malavika Gubbivani claimed.
