PU Exam centres sanitised for tomorrow’s English exam

Mysuru: With PU students set to write their last paper – English language – that was withheld due to the lockdown following Covid-19 scare, the district is gearing up to conduct the exam amidst Covid-19 scare, on Thursday.

As many as 31,569 students will appear for the exam in Mysuru.

On Wednesday, Deputy Director of PU Education Board G R Geetha said that “50 centres have been allotted in Mysuru and each room will have 24 students to ensure proper social distancing.

Besides, the institution heads have been clearly directed to arrange for masks and sanitisers. Exam centres will have thermal screening, too”, she informed.

As part of the preparation, all exam centres are being sanitised. The DDPU has also co-ordinated with KSRTC and has arranged route map for rural students.
